We begin our musical journey with the promise of something new. Together As One speaks of having open hearts, singing as one, and bringing love and peace throughout the world. Which brings to The Prayer, asking God to be our light, and watch us where we go, protecting us, and giving us faith so we'll be safe. We then declare Everyday I Will Bless The Lord and praise His name forever and ever, as we continually appreciate all we have. We continue to affirm: You Raise Me Up so I can stand on mountains, and I am strong when I am on your shoulders, to more than I can be. But we don't lose sight of our yearning, that of Jerusalem, My Destiny. Then we stir our souls with Chassidic melodies of our liturgical prayers that touch our Neshoma, or soul, through Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach and his daughter Neshoma's classics. We also realize how good it is when love sets your head spinning with the Yiddish Theater vintage piece Oy Siz Gut, and the contemporary love song Come What May. Understanding that it still is up to us to repair the world, a picture is painted of the work that needs to be done with the song Angels. Our musical journey comes to an end as we offer the quintessential Priestly Blessing and realize that anything can happen, if you just Believe.
